It is with great honor and humility that I address you as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Health & Medical Journal. It is a privilege to embark on this new journey alongside such a distinguished community of scholars and professionals. Our goal is to elevate the position of this journal both nationally and internationally and to establish it as a reliable platform for publishing innovative and impactful scientific research. In this inaugural issue, I would like to highlight the remarkable potential of herbal medicines and plant-based therapeutics. For centuries, these natural compounds have been used across cultures for the treatment of various diseases, and today modern science continues to uncover their complex and multifaceted mechanisms—from anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects to metabolic regulation and immune modulation. In this way, herbal medicine represents a bridge between traditional knowledge and contemporary evidence-based medicine. I also feel it is my duty to sincerely acknowledge the valuable efforts and leadership of the previous Editor-in-Chief. Their tireless dedication to maintaining scientific standards, enhancing the peer-review process, and upholding research integrity has laid a strong foundation for us to build upon. As we open this new chapter, I warmly invite all researchers, physicians, and scientists in related fields to submit their valuable work for publication in our journal.
